Jim Anderson is counsel to the firm. He earned a J.D. from New York University School of Law, where he was Developments Editor of the Journal of International Law and Politics, and an A.B. from Harvard College. Jim is a member of the New York State Bar and is admitted to the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York. He is a member of the New York State Bar Association.
Jim joined the firm after operating his own law office for more than 10 years. His practice is focused on litigation and real estate. He represents clients in construction, commercial leasing, contract, cooperative corporation and condominium association, and management disputes, in judicial proceedings and arbitrations. He handles commercial and residential real estate transactions, including commercial leasing, and counsels and works with property owners and landlords on a full range of management issues. His experience includes arguing appeals in both state and federal courts.
Mr. Anderson is a member of the Harrison Public Library Board of Trustees.
Jim lives with his family in Harrison.
